Who We Are
Links of Compassion, Inc. is a multi-service, community-focused agency and certified HCS (Home and Community-based Services) provider, offering compassionate, person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of the Texas Medicaid waiver program, our HCS services provide the supports necessary for individuals with ID or related conditions to live safely and independently in the community. We also operate an engaging Adult Day Center (ISS) that promotes socialization, independence, and daily living skills. Our services include residential group homes, foster placements, and community integration, all designed to help individuals thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Nursing services
When every day activities become too difficult to manage by ourselves, we often need our family and loved ones to chip in. Links of Compassion INC provides the support required to carry on with dignity, with the same love and care a family member would provide. This support includes 24/7 on call Registered Nurse.
Therapy
We can provide our residents with in house Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy sessions.
Meal Preparation
By the time many of our community members arrive at Links of Compassion INC, most require some degree of health and well being monitoring. Links of Compassion provides customizable meal preperation for everyone. By catering to the personal needs of each and everyone here, feel as they have a personal chef.

What is HCS?
HCS is a Medicaid waiver program that supplies services and supports to Texans with an intellectual disability (ID) or a related condition so that they can live in the community. HCS services are intended to supplement rather than replace services received from other programs, such as Texas Health Steps, or from natural supports, including families, neighbors or community organizations.
Who can get HCS?
HCS may be available to any Texas resident notliving in an institutional setting who:
1. Has an IQ of 69 or below or has an approved related condition with an IQ of 75 or below.
2. Has mild to severe deficits in adaptive behavior.
3. Is eligible for Medicaid benefits.
4. Is not enrolled in any other Medicaid waiver program.
